This ERTL Big Farm heavy-duty plastic model measures 22 inches long, 8.2 inches tall, and 6.4 inches wide. The tractor cab is colored bright red with a chrome exhaust stack, fuel tank, and air cleaners. The attached chrome side mirror accessories are also movable. The cab doors open to reveal the realistic interior. The seats inside the tractor cab are gray while the dash and steering wheel are black. The steering wheel moves when turned. This motion steers the front axle and chrome wheels in the desired direction. To add to its authenticity, this Big Farm Peterbilt also makes genuine truck sounds. A lifelike reproduction is not complete unless it has accessories, such as lights, that really work. Kids won't be disappointed with this ERTL Big Farm model because it has working headlights and horn lights. The long grain box by itself measures 12.5 inches long by 4 inches wide. It has a removable cover. The rear door of the grain box opens by lifting it upward for loading supplies. You can also gain access to the inside of the grain box without lifting the entire door. This is made possible by sliding open the rear grain hatch. The grain box is white. The cover and the sliding grain door are red to match the truck's cab.
