Product Information
You thought it was a little strange when a potential client specifically asked for a centuries old mansion with a graveyard out back and an abandoned cathedral nearby. Oh well, to each his own. After some digging, you found the perfect real estate: the Carfax house in London, England. Now you can journey to Transylvania to give the client, Count Dracula, the good news!

In Dracula the Undead, you play the role of an English solicitor named Jonathan Harker. The game begins inside Dracula's castle where you are free to explore to learn more about your client. Control of Jonathan is performed with the pad, with each room of the castle containing various objects and furniture.

Once you move Jonathan near an object, you can scroll through a list of verbs to perform a certain action. For example, "examine chest" will allow you to learn more information about the chest. Clue gathering, puzzle-solving and communicating with characters are all necessary in order to prove that Dracula is not what he seems. The game ends if you escape from the castle or fall victim to either the Count or one of his "brides."

To succeed at the game, you must notify the authorities of Dracula's whereabouts. This involves documenting important evidence in your notebook with the "use notebook" command. Winning involves destroying Dracula himself! The game differs from similar titles in the genre in that it exclusively uses shades of brown, giving it a parchment-like or weathered look. No battery backup or password support means you have to complete the game in one sitting.Product Identifiers
