Players search the grounds of a haunted elementary school for a way to escape in the survival horror title Corpse Party. Just before Mayu Suzumoto was set to transfer to a new high school, her friend Ayumi gathered classmates from Kisaragi Academy to perform a charm that would guarantee they all stay friends forever. But something went horribly wrong, and the group wakes up in Heavenly Host Elementary School, where the spirits of tragically killed children haunt the hallways. Gamers must use a flashlight to uncover clues to the grisly murders in order to survive and escape.<br><br>The action is presented from a top-down perspective, with gory violence depicted in retro, 16-bit graphics. Players can interact with their environment, pick up objects, talk to other characters, and attempt to avoid enemies. There are five main chapters, each focusing on a specific character, ten optional chapters that can be unlocked, and gamers can make decisions that impact which ending they ultimately see.<br><br>This Back to School edition includes the full game as well as two customizable figurines and a soundtrack CD.
