Based on the video Casper Meets Wendy, Casper Animated Early Reader, developed by Digital Media International, provides a myriad of learning features for children in the five to seven age group. The reading adventure takes place at Camp Sunnybright as Casper, Wendy the Witch and the Ghostly Trio host a series of games and exercises designed to expand language arts skills.<br><br>Among the activities, playable at three reading skill levels, are association of letters with sound, phonics, spelling practice, putting letters and words in alphabetical order, sentence structure, beginning grammar (nouns, verbs, adverbs), matching and rhyming words and building a sight word vocabulary. A rewards system allows the child to earn Casper Coins and trade them in to watch videos from Casper movies.<br><br>Other familiar characters from the Casper series include Fatso, Stinkie, and Stretch. Environments feature Wendy's Haunted Maze, Stinkie's Rancid Mansion, and Casper's Creature Crossword as well as word find puzzles, spelling surprises, funny sentences, and more. Magic potions, a train, a Goop Machine, and other animated items round out the activities encountered throughout the adventure.
