In this sequel, the protagonist White Bomberman is thrown in jail after Black Bomberman frames him for a bank robbery. The goal of this puzzle-type game is to plant bombs to eliminate enemies and blocks. Occasionally, a block releases a power-up when destroyed, which ends the level. The player is then able to receive a password by which they return later and play at the level where they left off.
