Inspired by the training and teamwork of the controversial American mercenary outfit, Blackwater is a modern military first-person shooter that uses Kinect for whole-body control. Taking the role of well-armed Blackwater soldiers, players engage in squad-based missions involving tense urban warfare and all-out firefights. Players duck, dodge, aim, and fire, in view of the Kinect sensors, to perform these actions in the game. The story is based on fictional events, but engagements employ techniques and equipment used by real-world Blackwater operatives in the field.
