Product Information

Stated simply, The Genesis Gap is belief that angels rebelled against God, at a time t revealed but that was obviously previous to Adam and Eve who were given dominion of the earth, after it was destroyed by God and re-created. This is why we see a finished heaven and earth in Genesis 1:1, followed by an earth that is covered by darkness and a catastrophic flood of water in verse 2. The teaching postulates that angels may have actually inhabited the earth (Jude 1:6) and that they had some type of kingdom over which Lucifer ruled. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And [can be translated 'but'] the earth was [can mean 'became'] without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2 KJV - words within brackets were added by me) And the angels which kept t their first estate, but [left their own habitation], he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (Jude 1:6 KJV - brackets-only were added by me) ... What believers in The Nephilim say (belief in an interbred race of angel-men), is that the scripture in 2 Peter 2:4 stating that angels sinned and were cast into hell is actually talking about angels who saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and they made wives of them, creating a race of mixed angels and men. Their belief of this doctrine as far as Bible scriptures go, is almost exclusively based on a scripture passage in the book of Genesis which reads as follows. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall t always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of rewn. (Genesis 6:1-4) Colonies of giants began to spring up, such as the Canaanites, whom God had the Hebrew people to destroy. Extra-Biblical writings add to the idea that these giants were angel-men but I am of the camp of belief that we must base our belief on passages within The Holy Scriptures alone. With this said, The sons of God comes from a Hebrew term stated as Bene Elohim and the giants in this passage are referred to in Hebrew, translated in Hebrew as Nephilim and in other passages as Rephaim, among other names. While some of the meanings of these words can be the fallen ones, this can still be referring to fallen mankind and the giants could have simply been certain people who grew to great stature physically (much larger than average men). The giant named Goliath, who was slain by the patriarch David is an example of one of these giants. In this book at approximately 5,478 words in length, discussion on both topics is given, which can offer readers a chance to decide which of the two subjects is most substantiated by The Holy Scriptures. One might decide that neither are scripturally worthy of acceptance or that both of them are. Readers will also gain an inside look at my own observations and views concerning these highly intriguing subjects in The Holy Bible. TABLE OF CHAPTERS: INTRODUCTION CHAPTER ONE: Does The Holy Bible Reveal More Than One Fall of Angels? CHAPTER TWO: Calling a Substantially, Biblically-Backed Teaching a Compromise of The Scriptures CHAPTER THREE: Unintentional Errors Can Occur With Finer Points of Biblical Interpretation
