Thank you for your feedback and per your suggestion we will begin to include that information with the packaging. It would be very informative to include the locality (stone origin), especially when an item is being given as a gift, and the recipient does not have the full information from the ebay listing available to them.
It was cut from the inside of a geode from Uruguay, South America.
