This is NOT alumina!!! This is advertised as high purity 95% alumina. It is nothing even close to that. I performed XRF on the item upon receipt bc I was suspicious of the color of the disc. Sure enough, it is some sort of mixed Mg-Al-Ti-V oxide, mostly Mg. Pic of the metal composition shown.
