In Legends of Valour you assume the role of a young adventurer who has just arrived on the volcanic island of Wolfbrood. In search of your missing cousin, Sven, you enter the city of Mitteldorf with an eye toward adventure, fortune and fame. You have a letter from Sven telling you with great enthusiasm about the wonderful "rats on a stick", roach races and plentiful money making opportunities in Mitteldorf. The letter was the last trace of your cousin who boasted he'd be joining a group of heroes going underground to the caves and warrens beneath the city in search of a precious jewel that carries a high reward for its return. Unfortunately, the underworld is filled with large numbers of ugly, mean creatures from goblins to lizard men. Legends of Valour is a hybrid adventure/role-playing game in which you build attributes and skills, earn money and pay your way as you go through the daily rigors of life. Game play supports full mouse control (some keyboard shortcuts are available) that is implemented by clicking on the many on-screen controls relating to specific action or movement icons/buttons.
