I reached out to the seller to return the item, because it was past the 30 day return window, and they said "start the return process". They then closed the return and will not respond back to my messages. The item is still in the original box and has the plastic protective cover. I have contacted eBay for help on this situation, and they are unable to intervene because it's past the 30 day window. They said, "it's up to the seller".
