Bound in black morocco leather, with titles in gilt on the spine and top board. In its original dust jacket. With three drawings and six paintings by William McLaren and illustrations by other artists. Very good condition, clean, bright and tight in binding. The dust jacket is good only, with marks, some light scattered foxing, one closed tear and creasing and minor chipping to the head and foot of the spine. It is now in a protective sleeve. 25.5cm, 10 inches, tall, 300 pages plus iii acknowledgements.”
