Seller Notes: “This hard-cover book is in good- condition. There is no dustjacket. The bluish gray cloth cover is ... “This hard-cover book is in good- condition. There is no dustjacket. The bluish gray cloth cover is a bit soiled and shows only somet wear at the corners, edges and spine ends. The front endpapers show John Brownings ownership label and a small blue bookseller’s stamp. The interior is OK with no names, writing, marks, underlining, major tears or odor. Unfortunately the entire text block got wet at some time and there is a water line--tide mark visible on every page. The paper is slightly toned with age and there is slight rippling at the outer edges. The pages were bound uncut--that is, to read it you had to separate each page at the edge with a knife or some other semisharp object. There are a few pages in the back that are still attached at the edge or uncut. The cut page edges are browning and becoming brittle where they extend beyond the textblock. One or two page edges have a small tear. The hinges and binding are OK; the binding is starting to crack in a few places.”
