Actually was very surprised when I put it together and turned it on the light came on but nothing happened, I was under the impression that I had a malfunctioning or non-working part but as I left it, I would come back later to find my boots were warm and they were dry I couldn't believe it it was completely silent and I am very impressed. I would recommend this item!
