Pen is damaged, I do not think the seller knew this. The seller is not the easiest to talk with. The pen price was dropped, was listed as new but it is not, it does not have the propper nib (Conklin) but an off brand.

The buyer had the pen sold to him at 30% off coming with the proper extra parts which he later claimed were not the correct brand. Also, the pen was brand new in its wrapping and I was later sent a picture of the pen out of the wrapping and he claimed it was used. Also, the buyer claimed the pen was broken which it was not because it was new but even still I offered a partial refund on a heavily discounted item and the buyer refused and got upset. Can't make everyone happy, but I sure tried.
