Not only is everything in almost "as new" condition, but I did a capacity test on the battery, which gave a figure of 1.97Ah at cutout .... or 98.5% of the nominal 2.0Ah capacity (see photo). I bought this for my nephew, as I have the same DC988 model drill (the best one that DeWalt ever made) .... But screw that! .... I'm keeping this one and my nephew is having mine!! 😆
