Seller Notes: “This is a vintage mid-century c1950’s "Metamec" desk/mantel clock. This is in excellent condition ... “This is a vintage mid-century c1950’s "Metamec" desk/mantel clock. This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful oak body with a decorative brass backplate and brass side panels that double as the feet. The oak has a medium brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a brass chapter ring, black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass window with a brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear of the clock there is access to the winding key and time adjustment knob as well as the speed adjustment lever. The clock was cleaned and serviced on 3rd February 2024.”
