The Description did not mention scuff marks and sticky residue on the tops of lamp. Thankfully, I was able to clean all this off and scrub off the scuff marks. There were tiny white paint splatters on the base and shades I had to clean offs well. The exorbitant shipping cost was a little shocking since an 8-pound package (weight of lamp was 7.5 pounds) ships ground for $17-$20. I'm grateful it's mine now. Thank you.
