I contacted the seller and all they offered was $30 to try to make me happy. It would cost me more than that to take it and get it fixed properly. This is a major safety issue with something designed to carry ladders on a truck going down the road. I counter offered and to split the cost and I would have it welded properly. They declined so I returned the item. Waste of my time and money to purchase this.
