The seller said he had inspected it before he sent, however when we opened it, it had a clear circular sticker sealing the box which indicated to us it hadn't been opened prior. We would have returned but needed the item asap, so repaired as best we could. I'm not so sure the antennae wasn't broken when it was sent. :(
