It inserted a Sony 8mm tape, but would not play, to make matters worse, it wouldn't eject my valuable tape of my children growing up! Fortunately I represented Sony for years and have the and knowledge to take enough apart to remove my tape! I contacted the seller who responded that it was for parts ONLY - Look at the copy next to the picture - it says"Tested Working". He flat out refused to help or take any action at all!
