The Snap Circuits MyHome kit is unusual for the Snap Circuits line in that it has 3-D construction tech. The circuits are still "toy" versions of real life, but are much less abstract than the board-style electronic circuits of Elenco's other kits. The child/youth can actually get an idea of how circuits work (at a very fundamental level) in a house. The recipient's father is an electrician and he likes it too.
