One cover was missing the holding washer for the silver strip, leaving the strip sticking out and flapping.
Both covers don't fit correctly - screw hole on the one was ~5mm out, the other ~10mm.
No rubbers in the female holes - luckily I had the old rubbers and they were usable.
Too much effort to sent back - was able to bend both enough to get the screws in, and used silicon sealant to glue down the offending silver strip.
But they look good :)
