Removed and tested battery, 3 volt battery tested 1.5 volts.
Purchased another battery and installed it, watch now working,
but had to bring to a jeweler to press the cover back on.
Watch has been working well now for over a week.
I don't believe the battery in this watch had been replaced, as advertised.
