The “clasp” on this brooch was made of two pieces of a safety pin: it could not have been more cheap looking and functionless. The pin end of the safety pin had been cut off bluntly to fit the size of the broth, and was not pointed or sharp, so it would have torn a hole in any piece of clothing. I threw this item in the garbage because it would have cost too much to return it to India. Be aware and buy only from domestic sellers!
