Before I purchased this item I sent a message to the seller to ask if there were any chips. I was told there were none. So I placed my order. When my purchase arrived it had been very securely packaged. After opening all pieces I found a chip at the top of the stand. I sent another message to the seller and told him that I had found the chip. He replied saying how honest he was. I know I did not chip it so it had to have been chipped before it was packaged to mail.
