After I had purchased the item, and after the seller had reduced the price in an offer to me, she suddenly announced item had been sold months ago. We had talked several times by email, including her offer of lower price. While she blamed eBay, I feel that it is up to each seller to keep track of their own stock. After contacting eBay she did reimburse me for the purchase price but I was left without the platter for Easter and a negative feeling.
