Great price, shipped quickly & arrived in great condition. Avid embroideress, love all things early 20th century. Been collecting Royal Society stuff, & was eyeing this for a little bit. I had assumed the stitching done w/ "celesta" or similar/artificial silk, but w/out too much inspection as yet, it feels much softer to me (maybe cotton?), which is a nice surprise if true! Will enjoy a better inspection before deciding what to do with it. Stitching finished or not? So many possibilities! Thx!!
