The pins on the board appear hand soldered. Mine came with some extra PCB material coming up on the sides of the black Famicom connector which I had to cut off carefully in order for a cartridge to fit. If you take the game cartridge out of it's case, I suppose it would fit. Also, no instructions were included on how to use it. I have a top loader NES, and you have to put the converter backwards (with the text facing the rear) and the game cart backwards.
