Great shoes. I like the short heel backs. They cup the heel very comfortably. The back of the heel on the sole juts back just enough to let me bring my balance more towards the heel which seems to straighten up my posture a bit. The adjustable ankle strap works well to keep the shoe secure when
walking briskly or lifting your leg to go up stairs or mount a bike. I think the improvements are worth while.
