Seller Notes: “This tea set has been well used – and well loved as well. I got these at an estate sale in North ... “This tea set has been well used – and well loved as well. I got these at an estate sale in North Hill in Akron, Ohio. They had been packed away in a box in a truck in the attic. There are scratches and the cups are a bit distorted. The saucers, which shows Red Riding Hood on her way to Grandma’s house, are in remarkably good condition. The plates show Red Riding Hood accompanied by the Big Bad Wolf eager to get in her straw basket. There is rust on some of the plates – but what would you expect from a tin toy from the twenties? But the rarest piece is the tea pot with its original top. The three scenes show the wolf at the door, Grandma’s house and Grandma in bed. (The cups show Red Riding Hood at the door and the wolf in Grandma’s garb.)”
