The item was extremely dirty inside, I'm using bleach to clean the interior of the cups. But not sure if it ever will become white. This should have been noted. These were bought as a gift and cannot be given. Wrong description. Very small size. Outside beautiful - inside a mess. Seller should describe items accurately so as not to mislead the buyers.

I’m terribly sorry that you are disappointed in the cup and saucer set. The “ dirt” inside the cup is not dirt, it is an opalescent finish that was applied to the cup and saucer by the painter. I have sold a lot of pieces painted by the same person and they all have that finish. If you look on the outside you will also see that finish there as well. If you would like to return this I will gladly accept a return.
