I opened the package and placed a battery in the device, but it didn't work. I contacted the seller & they were willing to work with me, but confirmed it had been tested prior to shipping. I re-inspected the device & discovered I was placing the wrong sized battery in the device. It helps to read directions after all. The battery cavity is slightly larger than the actual battery, but shoving a bit of cardboard in the cavity to create a snug fit made it work like a charm!
