The hose is an exact replica of the original hose Jeep used in 1976 with that 1 year version metal tank. The hose from 1972-1975 & the hose in 1977 were similar in design but different in length. Since the customer didn't email us directly inquiring about the length, that our manufacturer has sold over 100 of them this year without a complaint and that the hose matches an OEM hose we have here, we are confident the length of the hose is correct.
