It was protectively wrapped in a plastic bag and placed between layers of cushioning packing papers. What made it special was the gifting tissue paper that the purse had around it in the box. Shipping was as detailed at the time of purchase. This purse was a very good value and exceeded my hope of what it would be like. I’m switching out purses today!
