Item was new in plastic, but the cover had a noticeable crease/bend at one corner, so I would not have described this item as "mint". It is possible the bend occurred in transit. One thing I noticed is that the packaging appeared a little bit less than ideal as far as its ability to prevent bending. For an item described as used, this packaging would have been adequate. But for an item described as mint, packaging a little more robust would have been better.
