The wooden frame is not a perfect oval at the top of the mirror, one side has a flatter edge. There are some marks on the wood including one on the mirror side of the handle. There is some light wear to the varnish on the wood. . The silvering has started to lift away from the backing of the mirror which is what has produced the beautiful aged appearance. You can still see a clear image in the mirror.”
