Wear appropriate for age (1957 minimum based on inspection sticker but the 318 Greenwich St sticker hints at possibly late 1,800's or early 1,900's. I have sent an inquiry to the company that ultimately ended up with the Jacobs name/brand to try to accurately date it. Still works. Some paint chips but not horrible. GLASS ON ONLY ONE SIDE. The glass is very clean. You'd have to search hard to find any even mild surface scratches. Glass side numbering is still very good. Non-Glass side face is very clean considering exposed for X years. I have lightly cleaned the piece and I KNOW that both the black and white paint will clean up further, perhaps much more so. I will NOT deep clean it for fear of wiping off paint, etc. Any additional cleaning is up to the buyer.”
