Advisable to run a tap through the bolt holes to clear the threads and keep the back plate and bolts from the old one as this one doesn't come with them. For the price difference between this and a repair kit, it's a no brainer for simplicity's sake. Time will show how the build quality lasts, but first impressions are good.
