I was more than shocked happy whatever you wanna say once this worked and all of my compact flash cameras I mean everything for my D1 X to my D5 with flawless and perfectly, took it out for two entire trips of intense, cold weather, and they worked fine in the reading, right speed isn’t that bad with the adapter to adapter I shoot how many SD so it’s like double safety and it’s still reading right really quickly 10 out of 10. I’m definitely ordering another one or 2 1/2.

This item is 3.0 USB comparable and therefore it does not need 2 separate cables. I am happy with its functionality, if there's one thing to have in mind when purchasing its to know how long of a cable you need. This would work if you are gonna use it as an external drive for DVD's on a laptop but for a computer it may be too short if you only have ports on the sides.
