BUY REAL HAKKO TIPS! I was warned that the included tip isn’t so great so I ordered a Hakko tip anyways, but the included tip turned out to be a dud right out of the box which rendered the iron completely useless. Also - don’t follow the instructions on how to install the tip. I can only assume they’re for a different model. If you unscrew the handle first, not only will the whole guts of the iron pull out, but the handle can’t be reassembled. The tips simply push in and pull out. That’s it.
