La comunicazione può essere inviata, entro lo stesso termine, anche mediante telegramma o fax, a condizione che sia confermata mediante lettera raccomandata con avviso di ricevimento entro le 48 ore successive. Tale comunicazione deve contenere i codici dei prodotti che si intende restituire, nonché indicazioni sulle modalità di rimborso della spesa sostenuta (vaglia, bonifico, ecc.) ed eventuali coordinate bancarie. I prodotti oggetto di ripensamento dovranno essere restituiti a cura del consumatore, in condizioni di sostanziale integrità, al medesimo indirizzo utilizzato per la raccomandata.
