The alloy seat post is very light and I'm glad to not be trying to use carbon for this - now I can tighten the clamp without having to worry about damaging it, and it's about 6 oz lighter than the other seat post I'm replacing. Nice!

The Ritchey stem I got to replace an older one and it really is much better than the ones produced 10 years ago.
