And the record would stop when I put the needle at the beginning. But still nothing like music. I had to do a lot of manipulating. I had to straighten the brake to keep it from scrubbing. I had to straighten the turntable. I had to remove the motor and lube it. Still no music. Then, I placed the needles under a microscope and learned that they were all bad but one. The good needle plays music.
