I have a pretty ,assive data transfer project at work (I'm an archivist) and this has been working like a charm. No harm to the discs and smooth operation. I have worked with other vintage iMac drives and have had to repeatedly unplg and replug them in - but this one has not had that issue. Wiill definately shop again when the need arises.
