However, after opening the box and inspecting it, it was obviously NOT new. There was blue gunk on the cord, the cord was dirty from use, and there were some nicks on it prbly from banging it around with use of it. It could be worse. But, pictures can be somewhat deceiving. I think rather than posting it as 'New', I would have posted it as 'Used' honestly. I would not even call it 'Near New'. It's in original box, but it's used.
