Seller Notes: “This antique Edwardian era Art Nouveau purple silk white Maltese bobbin lace trim bodice, skirt ... “This antique Edwardian era Art Nouveau purple silk white Maltese bobbin lace trim bodice, skirt dress dates from 1905. It is made of a purple and white silk damask weave fabric with a woven Art Nouveau style geometric abstract swirl polka dot print design and an off white ivory cream color silk Maltese bobbin lace trim. This beautiful Belle Epoque dress has a lavish embellished bodice blouse with lace trimmings, purple ribbon accents, lace applique tassels, a lace dickey yoke front insert, a high neck collar, back shawl collar drape, long full bishop style sleeves with fitted cuffs, a back bow trimmed split tails, hook closures down the inside front purple panel, hidden along the side edging and is fully lined. The top measures 17 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 28 inch waist, 24 inch sleeve, 13 inch back and 13 inch neck. There is a matching long floor length full skirt with slight back train, matching lace, ribbon trim embellishments, snap closures on the back and is fully lined.”
