Disk had 2 752 985 264 instances of S.M.A.R.T parameter 7. Seek Error Rate, indicating problems with servo, heads. Fail threshold is 45, value is now at 60, against 94 as new. In addition 5 bad sectors have been reallocated. Unfortunately I hadn't the time to test the drive until after 30 day return window, so I can't return it according to policy. I hope it will be usable for some time at least. I would never have sold a drive in this condition myself though. Food for thought to the seller.
