It is not clear from the pictures, but the bolt has rounded corners, and so it is very difficult to use a wrench to install it. One of the nipples broke because of the awkward way we tried to install it. Tight space, and cheap product. Not a good combination. We have decided to use threaded pipe instead of this part.
