The seller was great — but I must protest eBay’s collection of state sales tax for these US coins. My state’s law has exempted silver coins from the state’s otherwise obligatory sales tax — and has done so for two years. Moreover, the application of the sales tax has been inconsistent as other purchases of similar items have passed through eBay’s check-out process without taxation.
